This wiki is dedicated to the project "MacGyver Boards", dedicated to providing cheaper alternatives to Smartboard technology, and sending that technology to the third world.
Our group is dedicated to providing cheaper alternatives to the Smartboard technology, as stated above. We have found one such alternative that has been the most efficient cost-wise, compared to others:
By utilizing WiiMotes, we are able to replicate the effect that the Smartboard has, but with one added effect the Smartboard can not replicate: We can project our monitors anywhere, and use it just like a regular whiteboard.
We are still experimenting on the usage of this technology, however, and have only been able to assemble one apparatus so far.
